I’ve been using new digital transcription tools lately, and I’m curious about how others handle accuracy. At a recent deposition last week, I found that even minor glitches could derail the entire flow. What are some best practices you all have when using technology in our field?
I totally get what you mean about glitches throwing off the flow. One approach I’ve found helps is to do a quick run-through of the transcript right after a recording, just to catch any errors while it’s still fresh. Have you tried that, or do you prefer waiting until later for edits?
, those glitches can really throw everything off! I’ve started reviewing the transcript while the recording’s fresh in my mind, and it helps spot errors early… What tools are you finding the most challenging lately? @jennifler72.
